Cara Mia's is just the place that makes you think of Dunmore. As a native of the small town, I miss Cara Mia's and especially their Dunmorean sub. Some people think it is priced to high, but the quality of food makes it worth it. When I am in town, I try to stop by. If not, my mother in law likes to bring me a Dunmorean as a gift. No present tastes better! Give it a try, you'll like the small town feel and the big time taste.

I loved the food here. Fresh homemade mozzarella, interesting combinations, and the prices are fine for the large portions. I got the chicken and tomato combo and had enough for lunch today as well as tomorrow. They also sell ravioli and sauces. The service could be a little better or I would give it 5 stars.
The reviewer who said "they have to learn this is a small town, not NY" should keep in mind one gets what they pay for.

While the atmosphere and service maybe average, the food is stellar. Their menu while not too extensive has enough choices for everyone. The ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. They seem to lack the greasiness that you'll find at other local lunch spots, while maintianing a very valuable price. If your in or around Scranton/ Dunmore stop by Cara Mia's for a great lunch.

For a small town they are priced like new york. They mus learn they are in a small town and should act accordingly, they even lacked friendliness and service, i wouldn't go back.
Cara Mia's has a huge menu with a wide variety of homemade subs, soups, sandwiches, and other things. The food is fantasic, and the service is exceptional. Try to chicken parm sub!

Food well worth the price.

When you think deli, you think the regular old whole in the wall that strictly is mostly for getting your lunch meats, assorted salad's and the occasional sandwich. When you think Cara Mia's deli, think speciality. While they do have pasta salads, and regular salads, their sandwiches are far from normal american. They have italian twists to ...
