We waited about 30 minutes and then were promptly taken to our cozy table. The young woman that took us to our table waited until we paid for our drinks and was very pleasant. The waitress was immediately there to take our order, refill our drinks and served our food quickly. She was very helpful in making our dinner choices also along with ...

I love El Serrano and I eat there just about every other week. The food is Purvian NOT MEXICAN although the food choices are similar. The atmosphere is dark and romantic with lots of large plants. The food is well priced considering the crowd it attracts. Even on the weekends they manage to keep the wait moving fast. They will qoute you a half ...

This is NOT MEXICAN food (I am a bit of a know-it-all when it comes to Mexican food), but it is some of the best Peruvian and other cultured foods around! The atmosphere is romantic - great for dates OR meetings, is very nice and elegantly styled. Reasonably priced for the quality of food and service provided. The Lomo Saltado is heavenly.

I Highly Recommend El Serrano!!!

I was always very impressed by how comfortable the restaurant is. Now since they have remodeled it is even better. The food is spectacular and their martinis are good as well. This is a great place to go with family or on a date with your significant other. I would try to go when they are playing music though. It adds to the mood.

Authentic Mexican Atmosphere and cuisine

Beautifully bright colored resteraunt. Great food, great service. I alway have a craving for their chicken enchiladas with green chilie sauce. The tortillas and their salsa are home made. Delicious, as well as cheerful atmosphere. Your treated like part of the family here.
We went to El Serrano for dinner one night not really knowing much about the place. After being seated and viewing the menu, we were quite disappointed and confused. The menu appeared quite limited, and the prices...gads! Sorry, but when a chicken soft taco plate or a chimichanga costs $16.95 it better be made of friggin gold!
Not sure what El Serrano is going for here, but we did not stay for dinner.
I had dinner at El Serrano last week. It was wonderful. We were seated quickly and the service was great. The atmosphere took me back to central america, I had lived there for two years. The first bite of food and I was sure that I really had gone back.
