Had lunch because of the great reviews. Very disappointed in the hot dogs. Have had much better dogs elsewhere. The cheeseburger not great either.

This place is great! Since the 1930's this place has been doing it right. Nothing fancy, but good dogs, chili, shakes, and sandwiches... This is a regular for me and my son. Enjoy some tradition. Excellent service too.

This restaurant is a MUST stop when we return home to the Gettysburg area.

It's just a "Texas" hotdog place. But, we get cravings for their hotdogs when we haven't returned to Gettysburg for a long time.

Just ask for 1 or 2 hotdogs "with everything." The dogs will include chili sauce, mustard and a lot of good ...

OUTSTANDING, the value, quantity, unbeleivable. As a transplant, what an outstanding find. You feel like you've been going for years, the way the staff treats you. Can't say enough about the food, service, friendly atmosphere, can get a bit smokey at times, but worth it...

Great location in Gettysburg. When looking not to spend a fortune for food in Gettysburg, Ernie's will treat you right. Lots of choices at an incredible price. Service was fast too. Make sure you read the story on the menu...very interesting. You haven't been to Gettysburg if didnt stop at Ernie's.....

My husband and I visit Gettysburg 8-9 times a year. Ernie's Texas Lunch is truly one of our favorite places for lunch. The food is always great. In 8 years of eating there we cannot think of one single thing that has dissapointed us. We Love Gettysburg and We Love Ernie's!

Ernie's is a great hotdog diner located in downtown Gettysburg. The food is preposterously cheap (two can eat for under $8.00). The service can be slow- but the place is so busy that you get the sense that the staff is working as fast as they can. The Cali cheeseburger is excellent.
