I agree with the Doctor, this place is definetly lacking in environment and customer service. The Turkish / Mexican management was found to be very unfriendly. The owner stood before the cash register as if someone were trying to steal it and talked negatively about everyone who exited the place. Not an enjoyable experience. I hear the Famous is the place to go for this type of cuisine.

Food is sub-par. Go to the Famous for this type of food you will be much more satisfied. Famous food is better quality and quanitity. Owner of the Texas is unfriendly with most people, unless your Spanish, Italian, or Turkish, whatever he is. Not a place I would go. Rumors ABOUND in this place.

When I'm in the area, this place is one of my guilty pleasures. I get the same thing every time, but it satisfies every time as well. The service is good, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. A great place to stop and eat in downtown Hanover if you don't feel like going to a larger establishment
