I love their food! I enjoy the busy atmosphere, too. The old man could stop slamming the water glasses down and say 'hi' once in awhile, but I love him!

I have going here for over 30yrs. The place is clean, and quick.

If you want some really good food. Go to the Hamilton rest and order their Hoch dogs or burgers
their turkey dinnners are great

It is all home made cooking
My grandparents used to eat there, my parents, I myself an my children all eat there
The place has been around for a good 60 yrs or more

Good home town cooking well worth your money, not expensive at all

When I was at Dickinson in the 80s, "the Milton" was the first place I was taken to to eat outside of the chow hall. I fell in love with it. Especially entertaining was the main guy there (probably now passed on) who was always so gruff and dour looking...and it looked like his family were all the workers. Yes, hotchi burgers or dogs, ...

If you are ever in my home town of Carlisle, PA, maybe you're here for one of many Car Shows we have, maybe you're just passing though, please do yourself a favor, stop by the Hamilton and get yourself some hochi-dogs & hochi-burgers, maybe some fires and top it off with a famous Hamilton Milk Shake! This place is great. Good food, good ...

Do yourself a favor. If you ever find yourself in Carlisle, get 2 hochi-dogs, gravy fries and a vanilla shake. Probably right around5 bucks and you'll be happy you did!!

The Hamilton is one of the best diners I have ever been to. Their burgers are excellent and they have some of the best prices and values in town. They have a large and diverse menu with reasonable prices. With it being so close to Dickinson College, it makes a great place for college kids to get good food at reasonable prices since most of them are on strict budgets for school.

You won't find a better hotchi-dog. We've purchased the sauce & taken it with us to friends' houses and everyone raves about it. It's a small place & close to the college, so it tends to be pretty busy, but it is worth the hassle while you wait.
