This affords you a very quiet peaceful walk with nature. Trails are all black topped and patrolled. Since Katrina there are a number of trees missing but still a pretty walk or bike ride. Trail is kept very clean. The trail travels from Slidell to Covington, about 31 miles, with many stopping points where you can begin or end.

There are a few busy streets you have to cross.
