I recently booked a party of 17 at Fortuna's. The food was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately the service was not. I was told that we would have 3 waitresses attending us. My wife and I grew up in the Niagara area. Fortuna's (once upon a time The Deluxe) is one of our favorite restaurants. We make a point of visiting every time we are in the area.OVERALL

We went to Fortuna's restaurant for our Valentine and 24th Anniversary meal. I chose this restaurant on-line as I thought being an Italian restaurant in Little Italy, it would have been very romantic. What a disappointment! There were no candles or flowers on the tables. I've lived in Niagara Falls for a long, long time and found that Fortuna's has some of the best Italian food I've ever had.
Their sauce is spiced nicely and has a good mouth to it unlike The Como's sauce which is greasy and tasteless.

I am a local.....Fortuna's is not good. They THINK they are...cuz they have the corner on the Italian market....so they do not take that extra step to make decent food or make you feel welcome. The (old) waitresses stand around and gab, while others sit in the back corner & talk on the oldest telephone known to man. Do yourself a favor and ...1 of 2 Yahoo! Not Safe!! Fish tasted like Rubber!I went here due to all the ratings trusting the reviews and not even 10 minutes of arriving home, I had stomach pain and diarrhea that flowed like Niagara Falls!
