We were not told the cancellation policy when making the reservation (but to be fair - we did not ask wither)

As it turns out, we had car trouble 2 hours from the hotel and had to cancel. We were 55 minutes late on canceling based on their policy and they refused to budge.

Need less to say - not good customer relations as we will never book there again (even though we will be to Boone 6 times a year visiting family)

The front desk was rude, they couldn't provide extra pillows or bedding for the pull out couch. No clock in room. And the hotel in general had a smell to it. Can't believe we actually stayed the night. Never again.

We have stayed there every year for the past 11 years during the IMCA Supernationals. Pricing is reasonable, close to track, Wal-Mart and resturants. We always get clean towels everyday, have a refrig, TV and phone. The people have been nice to us, calling us by our first names. Me and my Husband stayed there before and we liked that but after their remolding the hotel this place is more nicer. it's like new hotel nice job. i will stay here.

As we entered the room, we had to plug in the floor lamps, the lights were so dim we couldn't even read close by them, we had to call for towels, there was no radio alarm clock so we called for a wake up call and we are still waiting for that. There was noise in the hallway all night long, banging of doors, coming from the Mexican restaurant ...

The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, they acted like it was an imposition to help the customer. After our stay at the hotel we had to be treated by our physician for bed bug bites.
