My husband & I have stayed at the Anchor Motel twice in the past two years in July, and will be staying there again this July. We are from Connecticut, and it is a perfect spot for us to stay for an overnight visit. The motel is small & quiet, and the room is always absolutely immaculate!

It is directly across from Scarborough Beach, and perfect for a quick beach getaway.

In July of '07 we stayed overnight at the Anchor. We were very impressed with how well maintained it is. Owners are very friendly and hardworking. We appreciated it so much as it is rare to find a great hideaway like this. Rates are reasonable for the area. Highly recommended for couples looking to escape the chaos and get away for a long weekend.

The Anchor Inn is a perfect little getaway stay. The location is wonderful if your looking to stay RIGHT NEAR the beautiful beach. Also...you can sit right outside your room door and take in the beautiful weather and sights. Never been happier with a place...we just happen to find it when we went to RI..and will always return there...just make reservations...only 13 rooms...defintely worth every penny! Take my advice and ENJOY...ENJOY!!
