The service was terrible at this hotel. The entire staff was pilfered from the local hay seed college and did'nt know a thing about pleasing customers. Beyond that, the location was excelent and the rooms were nice, but small. I would only recommend this hotel for people attending the Black Friar Play House.
The Stonewall Jackson just doesn't seem to have it all together. Twice the water service was abruptly shut off without any warning. The last time it happened was the morning we were checking out, which meant the toilet was not functioning. Ugh!! This is my second stay at the Stonewall Jackson. As usual, everything went very well. The service is exceptional. I plan to stay there again in June when I visit Staunton again.
