I was staying in Virginia guest house and was wonderful.
I liked the service, cleaning and rooms.

I was cheated of my money while I stayed there from 11/7/08 11/14/2008 I gave 90 dollars the first night the clerk then knock on door to say I only gave him 80.00. so I owed 55.00 more for 8 days then on the 14th he said I owed additional 25.00 needless to say I paid it but I left and went to my fiancee mother house. The room was not clean nor the showers. disgusting

positive: quite cheap, and near to the Central Park and subway, internet connection.
negative: not clean, specially the rest rooms without toilet paper and towels, old building, smells rare.

The service was very nice and helpful.

The room I shared with my friend was big enough and provided with the basic furniture

The location of the guest house was convenient. Few subway station away, there is a place, where you can find a lot bars, restaurant and pubs.

The price for a shared room is pretty good, if you have in mind, that this is NYC, but the price for a single is pretty high.

The location and rates are great. Employees are very nice and attentative. "Monica, was very helpful and kind." Teh only thing that I will have to say that needs to be taken care of is that the beds need to be replaced very soon.

This is NOT luxurious but it is clean and warm and close to transport etc
My daughter and I stayed here for a week and found it to be completely adequate if you would rather spend your dollars on doing things rather than on accomodation.
The breakfast was fine... nothing flash but certainly adequate and enough to start your day.
Would recommend and will stay again
