we really liked the location. it's close to all main attractions. the staff was very nice and helpful too. rooms were clean, only a bit humid (it was raining all the time). very good breakfast. all this for a reasonable price. i recommend this hostel.

it was clean and cheap place for staying in istanbul, just few minutes to all sightseeing topkapi palace, grand bazaar,cistern, blue mosque,hagia sophia and hipodrome area. great terrace with marmara sea view. nice and kind people.

We liked it so much I stayed a second time. Staff are great. Location is excellent (5 mins walk to Blue Mosque). Plenty of food around. Free internet. Rooms & bathrooms kept very clean. Amazing view of the Marmara Sea from upstairs.

hostel owner were frıendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.The breakfast is very nice

The hostel is pretty well located and the view from the terrace is really nice, but the rooms are pretty dirty, the owners are smoking in the ridicully small reception room.. if your sleep in the dormitory you would smell the moisture of the closed lungery.. The is only one computer available to check your mail and you would have to share it with the reception guy... I would not recommend it.

I had such a great time at the Mavi Onur. The Staff were great and went out of their way to make my stay unforgettable. I've recommended this hostel to everyone I've met!
