I'm a single traveler i traveled to India and came to Sri Lanka. Kandy View Hotel is a nice place. And very clean. Their roof top restaurant is great. I recommend to anyone.

Last month we stayed at Kandy View Hotel for four nights.We only planned for two but because of the friendly atmosphere we stayed more.My wife and my two kids love this place because of the great service they have and we can't forget the meals.The rooms are clean and tidy.We would like to recommend to all who like to have an homely environment.

The room i stayed in the first night smelt a little damp and the hot water was more warm than hot. The room i had for the remainder of my stay was fine and spacious. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and kind. The rooftop restaurant had a great view.

i enjoyed staying in this hotel, the staff are very friendly and polite. the food also tasted good, however it was more expensive than other places iv stayed in. my room was nice, very clean and tidy. so far this hotel is the best one iv stayed in and was good value for money. i would definately recommend it!

friendly staff . roomrate breakfast & diner included is a good idea, then there are no street lights the way down to the lake.
top roof- rainforest- birds -monkeys - exotic - we come back in 2009!
