I came across the Red Nest as I was looking for a place to stay.
I opted for their only single room as I was traveling with a lot of valuable things including my laptop.

I had heard some horrible stories about hostels being dirty, random people walking into your room and the like, but red nest is really safe and the cleaners seemed to be working constantly. bathrooms were cleaned at least twice a day, roof ...

I was last summer and Valencia was hot! We went to the beach and came to our hostel with air conditioning in every room. The recepcionist told us Purple is the only hostel with this! They have internet, a lot of information, several rooms( shared and private), kitchen, several bathrooms and a pub. Purple Hostel is at right center of Valencia and all parties and pubs are close. the location is great, within walking distance of a lot of the downtown area. the staff were incredible! very friendly, informative, and welcoming. the rooms were spacious and quite comfortable. our room even had a balcony! it was very clean. internet is not free, but they have a lot of computers so you don't have to fight anybody or wait in line a lot. i highly recommend staying here. it was practically perfect!

Being an older person I thought I would be so out of place, but was made so welcome by the staff and other "oldies and people just wanting to have a good time. its the best Hostel in town, with one or two little things this Hostel is gonna became legendary in a few years amongst backpackers, no other choice as good as in town.......Very highly recommended, Do not miss it
