Of the 14 days in Japan, this guesthouse was the best experience we had with lodging, making Nikko one of our favorite parts of our trip. If you are going to Nikko, you MUST stay here.

This place was great. They picked us up from the train station which saved a taxi fare or walking. It is run by a cute elderly couple that are so sweet! The man can speak English pretty well so it made everything that little bit extra easy. They are happy to tell you all the best places to go. The rooms were clean and the other guests were great too. Overall a great stay and I'll be going back these again.

Very nice & friendly couple running the house. Bed linens are spotlessly clean and fresh, better than same hotels. Dinner was absolutely value for money, and very delicious. Owner provides pick-up and send-off to train station has compensated the fact that it is a little distance from the station. High recommended place to stay and have dinner.
