I recommend the Daiya Ryokan to anyone who wants cheaps lodging in Kyoto. It is only a 5 minute walk from the station, the staff are very friendly, the price was cheap, the rooms were spotless, there was no curfew, and the bath was good. I will be staying there again the next time I visit beautiful Kyoto!
