I stayed at Casapaxi for 6 weeks this summer and I could not have asked for more. Regina, the owner, helped my friends and with weekend travel outside of Quito and the maid was gread conversation. Wonderful views of the city from the balcony. Spacious, huge TV in the living room, hardwood floors, leather furniture. When I go back to Quito, I will definately be staying here.

We were extremely happy with our five-week stay at Casapaxi. We lived in both the casita and the main house. Both were clean, quiet and comfortable. The owner is friendly and very helpful. She repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty to assist us. The price can't be beat and the location is convenient to downtown Quito.

My husband and I are very pleased that we chose to stay at Casapaxi. The owner and staff were very warm and friendly, they made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a little peace and quiet, this place can't be beat. It's in a residential area far from the noise of the Mariscal or the old town, but it's still easy to get to by bus or cab. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the common areas are clean and inviting and the view of Cotopaxi from the patio is great. There are even discounts for students or long term stays.

after trying others, we need to stress that this is the best place to stay in quito that we found. it is a very quiet, safe and homely hostel. It's a little bit outside the center and the mariscal area but you can easily get there, walking or by bus. the hostel`s owner is incredibly helpful. we really felt at home and highly recommend this hostel! heide und ralf.
