What a nice little motelLoved the breakfast, the colorful rooms, the service. Considering Liberia was not our main destination in Costa Rica but more-so a stop-over....this hotel served it's purpose. Quintessential B & BLuckily we were fortunate enought to stumble upon El Punto, and what a gem - from impeccable service that makes you feel like family to extremely comfortable, firm mattresses with nice linens to spacious rooms with 2 queen beds (lofts) with hammoks and rocking chairs on the terraza I can't say enough good things. LOVED IT!Large comfortable rooms. Happy colors all over the place, rooms, terrace, lounge outside and dining area.
The rain shower in the bathroom is delicious!

Don't stay here.. cheap and shoddyLousy hotel. We were in CR for 12 days and this was the most expensive and worse of the hotels we stayed in. No hot water. Cheap construction. Paper thin walls. Bathroom sink leaked all over a piece of luggage. My daughter got shocked by the rigged wiring in the shower trying to get the non-existant hot water. No TV or phone. Wow!I was very impressed with this place. Small, lacks of a pool, but who cares, the hammock outside the rooms is great! Breakfast is quite an experience, I can almost say five star dining.
Transportation to the airport is very convinient.

I reccomend the spaEl punto is a small six bedroom bed & breakfast, they are recently offering spa treatments like the big resorts.

Love This Place!!!This place is fabulous! Nice modern themed rooms but with a tropical twist. Very close walking distance to shopping and good restaurants. The rooms are huge you get 2 double beds, one downstairs and one up in this really funky loft area, could fit 4 people comfortable in one room. Great breakfast, comfy hammocks. Perfect & ChicThe staff was very friendly and even made sure we received a personal breakfast package (we would miss the normal complimentary breakfast due to an early flight). Although our flight was very early in the morning, we were also still able to receive the complimentary airport transportation.

Great option for travelersService here is wonderful,breakfast is beautifully served and very tasty. Rooms are very comfortable, airconditioned, minimal decoration, modern fixtures, but interesting architectural touches make it a great room to stay at. The private terrace is perfect to relax and have a drink while looking at the gardin.By the way the kitchennette is super convinient especially since the super market is at walking distance.7 of 7 Yahoo!
