The rooms are dingy, dark, need paint, need new sheets. I didn't find the staff friendly; actually they were aloof. My room was next to the road and their parking space , therefore very noisy.I asked to make a local call and pay for it, but they refused. The pool is old, actually everything is old and worn out. Unless you come in late and leave early, you should find a better place to stay.

The owners and staff make you feel like you are part of the family, and do not hesitate to try and hook you up with other travelers who want to see or do the same things. They were very helpful with directions for buses, places to eat and visit, and the atmosphere was very peaceful and friendly. I stayed for a total of 5 days in between travels to other parts of the country. It's my number 1 choice for arriving and leaving the country.

Simple rooms with wonderful service . The attentive and smiling staff is very helpful. Perfect place for the first and last day in Costa Rica. Breakfast was excellent. The shuttle from and to the airport is very fast and convenient and paid by the hotel
