    Baveno is at the North end of Lake Maggiore, very convenient when we are driving over the Simplon pass into Switzerland next day. The Hotel Beau Rivage is on the main street facing Lake Maggiore and we have had beautiful rooms with balconies overlooking the lake. Recommended
