My husband and I stopped in here on a whim and we are so glad that we did! The food was was excellent! The baba gannush was the best I have ever had and I can't wait to eat it again! We ordered several dishes to share which was fun. The iced tea is yummy too, and the service was super friendly.
The only complaint was that the same song played over & over. It didn't really matter though because the food was so great!!

If you are traveling on Interstate 81 through New York, slow down so you don't miss Exit 11. That's where you need to get off to enjoy this excellent Lebonese/ Mediterranean food. It doesn't matter whether you're vegetarian, omnivore or even vegan, they have something delightful for you. I had a delicious marinated lamb kabob and my wife had a vegetarian platter and we both were extremely satisfied. Very gracious hosts.

If you're looking for great food, made fresh daily, and something less ordinary.. this is the place. Great gyros, hummos that is out of this world, kufta, tabouleh, babba gannoush, lentil soup, all excellent!! And don't forget dessert... rice pudding and baklava.

  • Lebanese and Proud of It

The only Lebanese restaurant in the area, Pita Gourmet provides a wonderful cultural experience in a college town. A family owned and operated restaurant, the Pita Gourmet provides traditional Lebanese dishes such as kibbe, tabouleh, shish kebobs, and hummus. They also provide some more traditional American foods. A great value, great atmostphere, and a great cultural experienence combined to fill your stomach and your soul.
