It's located on central Ave in Albany NY. From the outside it looks like a dive but once you get in everything changes. The food is abosolutely wonderful and the prices are right. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone ... As a matter of fact I'm going there tonight!!!

Awesome food!!! The service is never the best but the food outweights the service. By far, they have the best Vietnamese food that I have ever had. I was a frequent customer when I lived in Albany; but now that I live out of the area I make sure I go every time I return for a visit. There is no Vietnamese on the east coast this amazing!

It ia a great place to eat and food and service are good but if you want your food in 10 min that will never happen at vans and if ou want to get out on the weekend early you mind as well go to a fastfood restaurant.

One of the worst service I have ever seen. Extremely rude staff. By the time the food was served after an hour and a half of waterless wait time, my entire familys' appetite was gone and we could hardly register what we were eating. Won't recommend , won't go there ever.

The food was good, but the service was horrible. I had gone on a Saturday evening with my family and the place was very busy. After about forty minutes of placing the order when nothing arrived, we enquired from a waiter about what was going on. He was extremely rude. He even went on to say, if you don't like it here you can go to another restaurant So even though the food was good, I am not going to return there.

i wish i could say different, but the service was very poor this last visit. only 1 wait person on the floor at lunchtime, working like crazy, for a half-full restaurant! felt sorry for her.
gave me chicken instead of tofu (i'm vegetarian for 36 years!)
once the order was corrected, however, the food was wonderful! so, 4 stars, i guess.

its really good, very well priced, good selections, i drive 40 miles every week to go eat here. gotta try it to believe it!

LOVE IT. My husband and I eat there at least once a month and have never been dissapointed (nor has the people we've taken there). The service is great and the price very reasonable. Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

I have tired of wasting my money on below average food at local restaurants. Vans is the only exception to my dining experience in Albany. Their spring rolls wrapped in rice paper are delicious. The soups, which are considered a meal, are amongst the best of Asian soups.
