I go to the Long Island Beauty School just around the block, so I went there for lunch one day. I got the Beef Shogayaki & fried green tea ice cream for dessert! Everything was amazing! My mother kept saying how great the miso soup was!

The hype is real sushi is great little cramped sitting but the food is good.
Only inconvenience I noticed is that they wont take any reservations so if its a busy day you just have to wait in the line which could be more than an hour.

Kotobuki-what can I say I have been going to the hauppauge location since it was chanel home good parking lot before the expansion and the word got out-the food is excellent always fresh always delish always worth the wait.

I liked this place. It is small but the ambiance is very nice. The service was good. And the sushi was great. I would definately go again.

Awesome sushi, well worth the long lines. Hands down the best sushi in the area. Always fresh and tasty, innovative dishes. Great service and a warm, mellow atmosphere. The K-2 is exceptional, as is the Sushi for Two.

If you are willing to wait atleast 30 minutes or more, they are very good.
the wait is for lunch or dinner, no matter what day of the week. BTW, they are closed on Mondays.

I have tried a few sushi places and after going to kotobuki. I am hooked. There is alway a wait but its well worth it. Everything is excellent. I have never had a disappointing experience here. Try the spicy tuna roll it is excellent and the edamame.

There are not many good eateries in Suffolk County until you get to the hamptons, but this is truly a gem. You have toi try the "Crazy Salmon" Roll
