First, I was there on a Wednesday evening, so there were no crowds to contend with. I can see that crowds would lessen the experience considerably.
What I liked the most was the big tank. First, there are the four whale sharks swimming around in the tank. I have never seen these creatures in person before and for that it was worth the ...
Very nice but get here early before the crowd arrives ... Got there when it opened and we got through it in about 3 hours without rushing, but it was getting crowded when we finished ... Beautiful and worth the price of admission ...

Great Family Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/06
My family had a great time. Good layout and lots to see. The big tank with the four whale sharks and other fish is outstanding.
We just love all the exhibits and presentation they have for all the aquatic animals. The fish all look contented in their giant aquarium. We like the way how they segregated the Fish according to their class and kinds. Such an awesome sight!

Nothing fishy about this place...

With one aquarium in each of the big US city, you might be thinking "Yet another aquarium?" Well, if you have to go to only one aquarium, this is it. After all, it is dubbed the largest aquarium in the world by the Atlanta visitors guide. Unless you are an aquarium-lover, there is no need to buy the annual pass. One visit is sufficient to ...

EVERYONE MUST GO
By pecantan, 08/19/06
Seeing all the sea life was really amazing. Everyone should go at least once. The crowd was large--but it was the weekend. The best time to visit would probably during the weekdays. Make reservations early.

FANTASTIC!!!!
By Gwendolyn, 08/12/06
The only aspect of the Aquarium that I dislike is that you do a lot of waiting. However, the beauty of the aquarium makes it well worth the wait times. The animals are so well cared for. It's difficult to see them in captivity. However, the environment is wonderful. They are much safer in this aquarium than out in the Ocean. Look at my photographs.......there is a album of the aquarium there.

aquarium is overcroweded
By RobertH, 07/23/06
Reading on their website, you have to imagine what any one was thinging putting 8,000 people at a time in this facility. They say they've pared that down to about 4,000, but that is still at least 1,500 too many. Go to the aquarium (we went on a Sunday) expecting lots of crying kids, baby strollers that don't belong, way overcrowded veiwing ...
Very cool place to see the whale sharks are amazing. Very popular place for kids of all ages.
Prices are fair however you can end up losing out if you cant get in on time. Luckily if you can call 15 before your schedule time they will give ya an extention.
