While it's great that Atlanta stepped it up, and with the assistance of Home Depot, built the Georgia Aquarium; however, being someone who has always been involved in ocean life, I found the layout and the price to be somewhat poor.
There is no "flow" to the layout so you're left waiting for others to move away from SMALL ...
What I remember most of the Georgia Aquarium was massive crowds of people looking at tanks. It was a frustrating experience waiting to look at a tank. The animals were cute, but there were way too many people. I know they want to make a buck but I would spend more $ to have less people in the building. Go no later than 11:00 am and get your tickets ...
The crowds really made the experience disappointing. My memory of this place is masses of people gathering around the tanks. I would pay more for tickets just to have less people visiting. I know they want to make a buck selling as many tickets as they can, but they have too many tickets being sold. It was just frustrating trying to get a look at ...
I really enjoyed the beluga whales most. They have 3 adults. That was worth the trip to me. The food in the cafeteria was Disneyland prices, but tasty enough. The layout was a little confusing. We had a nice day and it took right at 2 hours to see everything. I still in a way like the layout and feel of the one in gatlinburg tennessee better. I was ...
The Georgia Aquarium was well worth the money! We enjoyed it with my one year old daughter, seven year old niece, and ten year old little brother. All of the children (even my one year old) were mesmorized by the all of the sea life! The staff was very knowledgable about the creatures, and the children loved "crawling in the penguin ...
Went with our children and grand children. Had a great time, but it was very busy. The Georia Aquarium is well thought out. They display the fish and animals so that the visitor feels as though you are inside the aquariums. A great way to spend half a day or so.

It is so pretty and so worth the money! It's perfect for all ages with lots to see. The tanks are huge and most are above your head. It took us about 3 hours to go through the whole aquarium but it was worth every second!

Its the biggest in the world and the most impressive as well. I'd recommend getting in at 10 am and watching the whale sharks feed at 10:30. Truly awesome.

I absolutely loved it! I've been to a few aquariums, but this one takes the cake! Everyone has to go at least once. Plus it's great for all ages!

It was massive, fun, and my family enjoyed it. Next door was th World of Coca Cola but that's another story. This aquarium is well worth the money and is absolutely beautiful.
