    The Carmel Diner may be found under "The New Carmel Diner Restaurant" in some places, but if it is at 63 Gleneida Ave. in Carmel, NY, that's the place.
    Several previous reviews here have given this diner very good to excellent ratings and this review continues in that way. My ratings need to be read with the idea that diners are not ...

    The food is excellent! The service is good. The owners are really good people, they treat you very well. Portions are huge so there is plenty to take home. Variety is fantastic. The BEST diner in Putnam County area!

    Diner food is comfort food, and the Carmel Diner serves some of the best. Nice comfortable booths or tables, great service, and the food is very good. Check out the fish tank as you walk into the place.
