Corner Bistro is a must for anybody in New York. They have some really good burgers and the great thing is that they are open late for late night cravings.

If this place wasn't so busy, I'd go way more often. Probably some of the best burgers I've ever had. I'm salivating just thinking about it...

Great hamburgers, but the Corner Bistro has the worst service of any food establishment I've ever been to. Even a Soviet-era Muscovite would shake their head at the service. In a word (or two), it's non-existent.

Pros: The hamburgers are outstanding

Cons: The non-existent service spoils the experience

I have tried many a burgers in NYC and this is the best hands down tastiest no frills burger in the Big Apple. Not a restaurant really, although there is a small room with tables, but a bar with a great burger. Unlike most best's in NYC, they are cheap. Do expect a line most nights. Enjoy!

Bistro Burger ...

Located in 8 th Avenue , Best Burger , the fries are very very good , you have to see it to beleive it , i will transfer the message to all my co -workers .

La Bonbonniere (around the corner on 8th Ave) makes a better burger and their wait staff will be happy to bring you a second glass of water.

Although, should you be in desperate need of a greasy burger at 3 in the morning, the Corner Bistro is a great place to go. However, given normal circumstances, I wouldn't be inclined to brave the crowd (made up of fewer and fewer neighborhood folks) and service.

Burger is good, But the White Horse Tavern on 7th ave in NYC blows corner bistro away.
