20 years ago this was the restaurant to go to. There used to be an Italian singer with a beautiful voice toegther with a violin player strolling through the tables. The cooks were italian, the wait staff (all male) were italian. The fish was fresh from Fulton's and the pasta homemade. You could order carafes of their delicious homemade wine, ...

I had dinner at Vincent's last Sunday night with two friends from out-of-town and we loved everything about it. Our meals were delicious (I ordered the stuffed shells), the portions were good-sized, the bread was really good & our server gladly brought more at our request, he was very attentive & friendly, the busboy was very sweet and the ...

My husband and I went to NYC for our honeymoon for 10 days and Vincent's was our favorite place to eat out of all the places we ate. The ambiance is relaxed and old time-y. We had the baked ziti and chicken parm. It was such great food, an enjoyable setting, and a fun experience being back in "old" Little Italy. Highly recommend!
I had an ok time here. It was decent food, and so was the service, the atmosphere is nice and the prices are reasonable, I would go back for some more!

Food ok, bad service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/06
Maybe because we weren't the "regulars" we were largely ignored. Our waiter actually appeared surprised when I tried to catch his eye as he was leaning against the register, staring outside. My wheat pasta was more than al dente - it was undercooked, as was my boyfriend's side linguini. But the sauce really is great. Overall, disappointing, but maybe it was an off night.

The best sauce!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/06
Has to be the best italian ever! The lasagna was melt in your mouth terrific. my olny regret was not taking enough of the "hot" sauce home. Vincent's will be my first stop next time I am in the NYC!!

Will keep coming back...

Unbelieveable. That's all that can be said about this place. The food is simply unbelieveable. Taste, portions, etc... And if you are a fan of spicy italian sauce, ask them for the "hot" on the side. It'll blow you away.

Excellent meal

Very good cuisine but pricey. If you have a special occasion coming up consider this place. Worth the splurge if you want something special!
