I cannot give Lombardi's 5 stars. The best thing they have going for them is the sauce. If you order the original margarhita pizza ($14.50 for small pizza) there is VERY little cheese. I went to Lombardi's on a pizza tour, and it was ridiculously good. I LOVE coal-fired brick oven pizza, and Lombardi's is top notch.

This is the best pizza by far of any I have ever had in any city. The sauce is supreme, superb, fantastic, etc. My wife and I were there 3/29/09 and got right in, but we went half an hour after it opened. I would stand in line for a long time to get this pizza and I don't like standing in lines.
It is a must if you are in NYC.
