Yes this place was elegant and I am quite use to eating in fine establishments, but this place was slow and the wait staff was horrible rude. $1000 for four for dinner and i don't expect it to take 4-5 hours to serve and given attitude from the wait staff.

The Chicken with black truffles was amazing. At first, paying $96 for chicken sounded kinda pricey but after tasting it I could understand.

The food was amazing. Being in that it is in NY, the prices weren't too bad for a big city. I would definitely go again.

We have been going to the Chanterelle for several anniversaries. The service is unbeatable. The food is amazing. We were very surprised when the wait staff arrived at our table with a great bottle of wine in honor of our anniversary. They couldnt have been nicer if they tried.

you can never go wrong as everything from the food to the friendly yet perfect service. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, " in spades "!!
