IN my opinion this is one of, if not the best, restaurants in NJ. Service is top notch, polished & friendly. Outdoor dining is absolutely charming & romantic. Food is outstanding. I eat out quite often, incl NYC and this place is really one of the best, if you like grilled food, and a quaint rustic atmosphere. Do not miss drinks at the Boathouse, just across the alley -- the coolest bar in NJ.

Most bizarre restaurant experience ever. Very unstable behavior on the part of the hostess. Total lack of respect for high paying customers. Felt sorry for the waitress, who was very good but will not be returning to this establishment. Noise level was such that we could not hear each other.
Bottom line....a great burger at a dive is a WHOLE lot more fun and enjoyment than an overpriced entree at this place!!

The sheer arrogance of our hostess clapping her hands as if she were addressing kindergarten students. “Ladies, ladies, customers are fleeeeeeeing the restaurant.” Untrue! We were no louder or boisterous than any other patron in this establishment. The only customers who “fled” were the initial complainers who had some peculiar bias ...

We had the tackiest, rudest, trailer trashy Hostess ever. We were a group of 13, she placed us in the dining room and then proceeded to come over 4 times to tell us we were disrupting the patrons. WHY WERE WE PUT IN THE DINING ROOM AND NOT OUTSIDE??????? How about the kids that were screaming in the dining area! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME WITH FRIENDS!

Overpriced. Rude service. VERY noisy. I would not return or recommend.

Reminded me of a restaurant in Geneva Switzerland called La Huchette in Carouge. Casual but elegant - food was fresh and prepared and presented deliciously. Liked that the service was not stuffy. BYOB is great!

We ate here one lovely May weeknight this year. That was the only good thing about the night. I have always avoided this place due to the very limited menu.
