My wife And I were there for 9 days.What a wonderful city to visit.The hotel was in an excellant location.Cable cars around the corner,E-train just a few blocks away.Lots of things within walking distance.
The staff were very accomadating.Rooms were beautiful and clean.
We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

they need to tone down the decoration in the inside facing rooms it makes the small room to busy to sleep.

the people were nice and quick to respond to your requests.

would stay again in a nicer room the inside rooms are not worth the price or sleepless nights

First of all, this hotel is located in a terrific location on Fisherman's Wharf. Lots of extras, the beds are very comfortable, very nautical theme with some of the original beams in place from when it was the cannery. The AVEDA products are a nice treat, and the nightly wine hour in the lobby was a fun place to sit back and relax. This is our second year there and look forward to many more trips.

The location was wonderful. It was within walking distance to so many fun things and locations. Hotel was beautiful, and clean. I do have one complaint. When you pay for a nice hotel for several nights, they should not charge you an additional $30.00 per 24 hours to park your vehicle. That is ridiculous, and greedy. It should be part of the paid price, and customer service. Or, at least charge a reasonable price, such as $10.00 per day.

I booked this trip through our local travel agent and she gave me three different hotels as an option but said that this hotel with the nautical theme sounded nice. Nice was definitely not the word. We found it to be exceptional. We were treated like royalty the whole week we were there, from the doorman, the front desk employees, the cleaning ...

The location of this hotel is excellent and the rooms are lovely. The front desk staff is efficient but strangely curt. Also be aware that on nights when the facilities are rented out for events, it can be extremely loud. Best to inquire ahead of time if peace and quiet is important to you.

I've stayed in many more "famous" and more expensive hotels in San Fran. This is by far my new favorite. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were well appointed and very clean and you could not ask for a better location on the wharf. It sits across the street from the bay and has several great restaurants within a very short walk. Highly Recommended!
