One of the best restaunts in the Volunteer state!I brought my fiance here for nice get away & as nice as the hotel is, its claim to fame should be Wellingtons. The food there really made the trip. When we had finished eating the chef came out & spoke with us, which made the evening more fun. This place is really one of Tennessee's best!3 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

Ok, but not the best.I took my wife to the hotel for an overnight stay and got the romantic package. I upgraded to the Presidential Suite which was very roomy and had a fireplace and clawfoot tub. They told me it would have a stocked bar, but did not. They also promised a tray of chocolate dipped strawberries, but they were also a no-show. When I think luxury hotel, I ...2 of 3 Yahoo! Perfect HotelThe Carnagie Hotel was perfect. The bathroom was huge. The rooms are large. The staff is gracious, and the restaurant is excellent. Very Beautiful & Romantic HotelThe Carnegie is a real jewel in Johnson City. The rooms are large and furnished with period-looking pieces. The bathrooms are luxurious. The place itself is an excellent reproduction of a turn of the century hotel.
This hotel is for Families, Business Professsionals,and a very nice, fun enviroment for kids,and great location.

Wonderful Stay!CLEAN and comfortable rooms decorated in beautiful, unique period furniture. The bathroom was large also and the whole stay was a great value! Bravo!I have been to the Austin Springs Spa on severl occasions and have never be dissappointed. I recently took a friend there as a suprise, even though the appointment were made with short notice, the staff was friendly and accomindating as usual.
