Excellent place to have sushi at a reasonable price.

The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing. They play soft Japanese music and the lights are dimly lit.

The service is excellent and well-mannered. The servers cater to your every need and quite surprisingly, they dress in traditional Japanese clothing.

Walking in there was a smell of fish. Good fish should never smell fishy.
My fiance and I ate there at one and by three our stomach were turning. We ate the lunch special box it was under $9 a person. It came with miso soup, salad, and sushi, white rice, and two other things. The people were very courteous there and we received our food quickly. Next time I will go back to East Tokyo at the Party City plaza, or SoGo in Denville.

For a long time this was my favorite sushi in the Morris county area. Their monthly roll specials (usually with the soy paper) were always amazing. Their specialty rolls in general were always excellent, and their fish was always amazingly fresh. I would highly advise giving this spot a try!

sushi hana is the best sushi rest. i have ever been to. i am on a first-name basis with the owner because i buy there at least twice a week. they have AMAZING and always fresh sushi.. i recommend this place for friends, family, and couples.

I walked into Sushi Hana and it smelled like old fish, a bad sign for anyone that knows sushi. I left. If you want good sushi there are other places around. Maybe the dinners are good, I have not tried any.

Sushi Hana is at least a once a week lunch stop for me. The service is excellent and the sushi is always fresh. I never had a bad meal and the price is comparative. It's a must if you like sushi!

I completely agree with the previous reviews. It's small, but intimate. I've never been there during the nighttime or weekend, but I'm sure it's a great little crowd. Nice decor and wonderful service. I've never had a bad meal. They actually remembered me after I took a small hiatus; I was surprised.
