I always enjoy this restaurant. The menu has a great selection of interesting items, always beautifully prepared, the atmosphere is upscale and luxurious, the service is great and the prices are really OK. My idea of a winning place.

Previously known as Captain Jacks, Seagrass is an amazing restaurant. Unique, fresh, and delicious food combined with an amazing atmosphere... what more could you ask for? Never have I ever seen and encountered such friendly and outgoing servers. I saw someone's post about waiting long for food... you wait long for food EVERYWHERE at the Jersey ...

My daughters and I had dinner there this past Saturday night. We all had the tuna. The food was exemplary as was the service! We never felt rushed. The tuna was sushi grade and was better than what I had when vacationing in Barbados! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We go to Ocean Grove every summer. The summer of 2006 we visited Captain Jacks. The service was terrible. The fried calamari was like eating rubber bands. We sent it back. The five of us ordered different items on the menu. Everyone was disappointed. We had waited so long for the main courses, we ate what we could stomach. Small portions accompanied by outrageous prices as well. In 2007, we avoided this restaurant like the plague.

My husband and I went there once a week all winter for their $18 specials- every meal was excellent- service was friendly and fun.

I live in Ocean Grove. This used to be the place I went to year round all the time. Since it has changed hands the quality has suffered. I gave it 5 chances and can no longer spend money there.
