The setting is beautiful, right next to a waterfall. The first time I was there, the service was horrible, it took forever, but the food was great and they gave us dessert to make up for it. The prime rib was amazing!
Beautiful setting, fireplace was wonderful, music was live and fun. However the menu is deceptive, the meals and appetizers were bland, in all for two people to eat conservativly it should have had much more to offer for eighty dollars. Very sad to see a landmark rely on a waterfall.

When we arrived at Sage, a lovely old mill located in beautiful Chester, CT, I was ready for a fine dining experience.
