I used to like Ed's.. went there as a kid and I used to go there all the time these past years.. that all changed on May 14, 2009 when me and my fiance went to get milkshakes to go, and although the young man who was helping us was friendly, he couldn't get the milkshake machine to work. So he asked the owner, who came over.. looked over ...

I eat here often. The use real turkey meat and not deli. They also have a wide variety of food on the menu and their pizza is really good. More importantly they have very affordable specials on Sundays and Wednesdays. Tough during these times to find a business that still offers affordable food that is of good quality.

I read some of these comments and had to laugh. I worked for Ed over twenty years ago, and quit because of these very things. They say you can't change people if they don't want to. Imagine the business he would have if he had changed! Ed has recently placed an ad into the paper regarding his nightly "specials" new pricing. ...

We heard the owner yelling at a customer and making rude comments to the waitstaff. You couldn't pay me enough to work for that guy.

This Ed's was worst place I have ever eaten. The waitresses were rude and the food came after a LOOOONG wait and it was cold. The waitress did not offer coffee and when it did come it was terrible. Now I am not a picky eater and I usually find something good in ANY place I go but do not waste your time or money here. It was AWFUL!!

Ed's has good food, and the service is decent. However, I will never return to the restaurant because the owner doesn't care about his staff or customers. On numerous occassions, I have heard him yelling at waitresses and cooks while the customers are within hearing distance. Friends of mine have worked there and they say he is very ...

I went there years ago when smoking was still allowed. They put me in the 2 booth non smoking area, and the smoke just poured into that area from the other places. When I complained, the owner shrugged his shoulders and said, "oh well, thats the no smoking section." I took the salad bar, and the corn salad, which has always been my ...

Don't waste your money here, they don't deserve your business. Rude staff, inability to get your order right. Then if you order anything out of the ordinary, they haved huge problems. Their attitude seems to be "eat, get out, leave your money". Poor service, poor food. The only reason they're still is because of the older, ...

  • Fair food and pricey
    By Tank Ing, 07/15/07
All around fair except the prices, which I found to be high for a "Friendlys" knockoff. Service was okay if you discount the incorrect food orders. Better off going to Friendly's.

  • This is a good place to go, especially for the pie
    By Michael, 11/02/06
Ed's pays attention to detail and it shows. The service is good and attentive, the restaurant is clean and the food is hot. Ed's is renowned locally for it's pies made on site. They post the pies that are homemade on the menu that day. They are kid friendly to boot. The specials on the menu are mostly comfort food and you won't ...
