The place is clean and the food isn't bad. Slightly pricey for an area economically depressed.

One time I asked for a salad without onions and and watched the register girl pick them off (with no gloves) the salad before closing the take-out container and handing it to me.

I absolutely love this place. Great food with reasonable prices. Afternoon service is a bit slow but the evening waitstaff is excellent. I've never had a bad meal and have been coming here since I moved to Plainfield in 1997. Gus's gets my vote for being the best in town by far.

After receiving a gift card, my daughter wanted to buy a pizza. We looked up the website and took down the info and ordered.....thinking that the total would be $8.50...well...it turned out that the prices were not updated on the web site and the total was $11.24!! The pizza and garlic bread prices went up...AND on the website...it does not say ...

This place my family has been going to for many generations, I was raised on this. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is great. What more could you possibly want?
