Great Food, Great Service!!
I must see for any Thai food fan. Best Thai in Connecticut.
Also good for office parties. All of our co-workers agreed that it was the best food for a luncheon in a long time.
If your in Hartford don't miss it.

The only true thai food display in the region. We have tried most local competition, ie Lemon Grass & Hot Basil, and by far King & I is excellent. The food is always fresh and cooked to order. Litlle or no evidence of processed foods being used in this kitchen. The attention to detail and the long standing & consistent wait staff make the King & I the only place to go for authentic thai fare. Take out service is also very good.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in the state. The food is fantastic. I haven't had a bad meal yet. My favorite though is the drunken noodle. The place is very small (like eating in the living room of someone's old house) so if you have a party larger than 4 you should call ahead. Also, BYOB.
Moved here from San Francisco and it has been hard finding good spicy ethnic food here in Connecticut. But The King and I is as good or nearly just as good as any Thai place in LA or SF. Very impressed.
East coast thai usually leaves something to be desired....but I keep going back, time and time again. All the dishes are tasty, but I'm really quite fond of the red curry ;)
