I didn't like it much, I had their fish tacos which weren't bad, but I've had better. I actually bought a book shortly after eating there called, "Eat This Not That," by David Zinczencko labeling those same fish tacos as the worst fish entree in America. Can you imagine how I felt? Though my server was very nice, pregnant, and nice.

I was impressed when I first went there when they first opened up. Then I returned twice more a year or two later. That was enough. I would rather go to Puerto Vallerta in Middletown then here. Too much like a fancy Taco Bell.

    Ewww.

Tasteless, salty muck. There really isn't anything here to endorse. My advice is to pass this place up and you'll thank me for that. Why there is a crowd waiting to get in is anyone's guess. There are three palces in Middletown that are much better and one of them is outstanding. Head south.

  • Good Food

A reasonably priced mexican restaurant, good food, nice size portions. A bit noisy at times, gets alot of families, but still enjoyable. Weekends the place is packed, very popular. I would go again.

  • Commercialized

On the Border is definitely a commercialized mexican food place. It is like a Chilli's but more Mexican. The food is good but not authentic. It is always busy. There are many families in there and it is always really loud. Not a place for a romantic dinner.

Salsa was watery and they had probably the worst fish tacos I have ever had. Typical chain Mexican food, far from authentic or great. Do yourself a favor and try to find an authentic place.

  • Good Food/Great Atmosphere

The restaurant is kept very clean , colorful, and bright. The food is typical Americanized Mexican food prepared very well. I would definately go back again. The 3-sauce burrito was excellent. Well seasoned food with a little bit of heat.
