A dream of a placeWe stumbled upon this restaurant on the first day of a recent trip to New England. We could hear the rush of the river before we saw the mill. With the late afternoon sun shining on the riffles and falls of the river, and the geese swimming there, the old mill took on a surreal beauty. For a while, I could only stand and stare. As extraordinary as I remembered!A quick note to let all know that The Grist Mill in Farmington is worth the trip. I hadn't been in a couple of years, due to a move, however jumped at the chance when we visited friends.
