The Shed in Stowe is another excellent place to grab a beer. I stopped their on my way from The Alchemist a few weeks ago. The beer is pretty good quality and affordable as well. They sell it in growlers too. The only downside is that I didn't have enough time to hang around and get the gist of the place. It's easily accessible, on Rt.100.
