We have a camp in Vermont and always make time to go to D.J.'s. For us the Prime Rib is the signature meal. We really enjoy the staff, however on our most recent trip, Katie was the highlight of our dining experience. She is very personable and a great sense of humor. If you go.. let her pick your bottle of wine. We can't say enough about this terrific place. Mary and Sam

My family's been going to DJ's every summer and winter for 25 years. It's solid, good food, good prices, good crowd, good service (I think we've had the same waitress for 25 years, too). DJs in Ludlow Vermont is what it is. It's good quality, basic food at good prices.
The Ludlow locals love this place (it's one of the few restaurants that is open year-round and packed every night).
The atmosphere is booths, dark wood and Frank Sinatra on the sound system (always turned down for good conversation).
The bar menu has a teryaki chicken sandwich with pinapple sauce and the best rustic cut fries in town. Or choose the cheeseburger for a tasty meal and get this, it is under $6! Saturday's they do not offer this though.

My stuffed shrimp was excellent and so was everyone else's food. The salad bar that came with the meals wasn't too impressive but the warm rolls compensated for it. This place is so popular with big groups with kids so don't be surprised if your group get cramped in a small booth of 8. I'll still recommend it, DJs is solid good food!
