The first time I was at this place was in the fall of 05. We had the lobster stew and it was to die for. We never had lobster stew that good before. It was like crack. The following year we went and missed the season and it was closed, then in 07 they took it off their menu. After they took the stew off the menu, everything else was okay, lobstah ...

We recently ate at the portland lobster company and were not happy with the experience. Our order was lost and not once but twice we had to go to the pick-up window to inform the staff that we never got our meal. After waiting almost an hour, we finally got the food and it wasn't worth waiting for. The lobster rolls had very little meat and ...

I live in Portland and recently took my relatives from out-of-town to the Portland Lobster Company for a real treat. We ordered their lobster roll, fried clams and clam chowder. Their lobster roll is the best that I have had anywhere in Maine. It was all fresh, and even had tail meat in it, which is something of a rarity nowadays. I've had ...

We're new residents in Portland & went to the Lobster Co for the first time yesterday. The food was very good - once we got it. The plastic lobster that was supposed to sound off when our order was ready didn't work. No one in the Pick Up area bothered to find out why the food was still sitting there after almost 30 min. We finally got the ...

We went to the Portland Lobster Company this week for some clam chowder. We ordered the chowder at a window and were given a lobster-shaped buzzer and told to find a table in the back and wait to be buzzed. The chowder arrived and was barely lukewarm. After a few spoonfuls I started getting suspicious as to the chowder's clam content, or lack ...

By far the best Lobster roll in Portland! Fresh Lobster meat, both tail and claw, crispy romaine, and a perfectly toasted bun! I have had so many lobster rolls in this town that use frozen meat, or just knuckle and claw meat, and trust me there's a HUGE difference! The Portland Lobster Company also has by far the best seating in town, with great live music to go with it!

The Portland Lobster Company offers the best quintessential outdoor Maine dining experience. I have tried many "lobster shack" up and down the New England coast and this is the absolute best one so far. They also offer great live music throughout the summer and the best view in the Old Port.
Their lobster roll is made from fresh daily ...

This is a recommended place when you want a great lobster roll or a whole lobster with corn on the cobb...but you will pay for it. Actually, I've had a chicken sandwich that was quite good too. I love the location, right on the docks on the waterfront at the bottom of the Old Port. You can sit out back on one of the many picnic tables - covered ...

One of the best lobsters you will ever have in an outdoor dock setting. What more could you want on a nice sunny day?
