The Porthole Restaurant for me goes back to the mid 1980's. I used to work for a music/entertainment magazine in Portland and we used to go to the Porthole for lunch on Friday's for the Friday "All You Can Eat" Fish Fry. If Angie is still there she is the best waitress in the world! Miss you Angie but I'm coming back to NH soon and will come up and have one of your great breakfasts! The Porthole is one of, if not the best, places to eat in Portland.OVERALL

Great place for breakfastMy wife and I visited the Porthole over Memorial Day weekend '07, and had an amazingly large breakfast for a great price. The service was great and the food was very tasty. Well worth a visit.OVERALL

Love the Happy Hour at the Porthole!Not long ago, we went to a fancy higher priced restaurant in South Portland, followed by drinks at the Porthole. We were blown away by the fun atmosphere that the Porthole provided. What a terrific place to enjoy friendly people and the waterfront on a summer evening.OVERALL
