Went there tonight and was not impressed at all. Lobster roll was the smallest we had ever seen and when we mentioned it to the server, she just stated that she hadn't noticed it and left. I had ordered the fried clam strips and they were greasy and just didn't taste good. We left with the opinion it was a tourist trap, even though we were tourists also

The clam strips are great. The portions are large. Great service.

One of the Best places to have dinner. Everyone is friendly. Mike always makes time to stop by your table and say hello. You feel like part of the "Shack" family when you eat at Mike's!! We look forward to stopping in every year and our vacation wouldn't be complete without a trip to Mike's Clam Shack!!! Stop in for the best food at the Beach.

Its ok tourist love it, Bobs has better fries clams and the steakhouse (across the street)blows this place out of the water. Mikes is like a more expensive weathervane.

Wife & I live less than a half hour away from Wells and we go to Mike's Clam Shack at least once a week . You always get your monies worth and if you have a chance to go more than once try something different and I'm sure you'll be pleased with your meals . You have a choice of eating in the dining rooms or in the bar/lounge area . ...

We spend our summers in Wells, ME. Have done so for over 10 yrs. and we have tried just about every
restaurant in the area. You cannot find a better restaurant,bar,sports bar or friendlier people than at Mike's
Clam Shack. It cannot be beaten. Order seafood, steak, burgers, chili, whatever you wish and you will
always get the best in town or even in surrounding towns. TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT...

I have lived in Wells for over 8 years now and I watched Mike's Clam Shack grow over the years. When I first arrived here in 1999 it was a great place to eat, a little pricey but was very good food and service. In 2007 the building was expanded and is now large in comparison to what it was.

Always awesome, now even better with their huge bar with all the TV's you can grab a table and watch whatever event is on while you eat. Consistent quality.
