  • Poor Customer Service

I didn't actually make it to Wellspring. My wife and I were very excited to find such reasonably priced and well-reviewed accommodations near Mt. Rainier for our anniversary. We booked a room for a night in mid-September 2009, and several days later got a call from someone in the office explaining that someone had actually already booked the ...

Wellspring is definitely a romantic destination. Very quite and secluded. We will definitely be back for a much longer stay.

  • Amazing Respite Away!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/06/08
I have been going 90 miles an hour since last spring. I found that I truly needed a respite away from the busyness of motherhood. I did some research and in the dregs of my mind I remembered Wellspring. I had been to Wellspring first many years ago with 3 of my best girlfriends, then returned with about 12 people for a scrap booking retreat and ...

  • wonderful getaway
    By John, 04/06/08
What a wonderful, peaceful getaway. If you are looking to leave ALL electronics behind and just relax in this wonderful outdoor setting then Wellspring is a great place to do it. Listen to the crackling fire on top of the most comfortable feather bed you have ever rested your tired body on. This is the perfect romantic getaway with or without the kids!!

Wonderful, amazing, UNPLUGGED place. No kids, no tvs, no internet, no cell phones, just silence...and huge fireplaces and king-sized feather beds. Leave the toys at home and come rediscover your relationship.

  • Perfect Retreat for Romantics who Relish Residing with Rodents
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/07
My husband, 9 month old child and I stayed at the Tuolumne cabin at Wellspring during the first week of July. After a confused few minutes since there was no welcome desk with a person and no postings to say how we were to check in, a person came and eventually gave us a key. There was a red phone that had intermittent service to the people who ...

  • Waiting for next time
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/07
Wellspring was recommended by my son when he was a Rainier climbing ranger. We have been going back for ten years. We live in Maryland but any trip we take to the Northwest must include one preferably two nignts at Wellspring. We started with the Three Bears the the A Frames. With the addition of the luxury cabins, Tieton and two others, we were totally hooked. These are log cabins with the feel of a five star resort.

  • I come here every summer!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/16/07
This place is AWESOME! The scenery, the setting- how quiet and peaceful.... The cabins are great and the "staff" is unobtrusive- you'll never see them unless YOU want to. I take an annual summer hiking/backpacking retreat to Rainier every year and this is where I always spend my last night before heading home. I usually stay in ...

  • Wonderful getaway!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/10/07
Wellspring allows you to relax and rest in pure comfort. The owner, Sunny Thompson-Ward, is a delightful spirit at the helm of this wonderful hideaway, and offers Swedish deep tissue massage therapy sessions in her two spa facilities. My husband proposed to me at this retreat, and we have been back many times since. We bring our family whenever we ...
