The short story: I had planned a corporate retreat here. We had to cancel due to the economy (3 months in advance, 1 month after booking). They said they'd refund our deposit of over $2000. 4 months after it was promised, I am dealing with the credit card company to try and get my money back.

We stayed for 1 night. There was no fridge in the room. no closet for the clothes, only drawers. We were given a different room from what we booked. The bath tub jets died while we were in it, so had to call the staff and we had to get out of the tub to find electrical switch to make the tub jets working again. We had planned to have scrambled eggs ...

The Birchfield Manor Contry Inn was a great find. The service was excellant and the food was even better. A great place to take that special someone to! I can not wait to go back!
