We were in Salem as my husbands mother will ill and subsequently passed away. The entire staff at the hotel was very supportive and helped make this difficult time a little easier. I traveled to Salem for business last month and stayed in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely lobby area and service. From the very beginning, the entire staff was friendly and very professional. We enjoyed lunch in the onsite restaurant, Bentley's Grill- great food, great service! Great experience all around...will stay here again.
The service at this hotel certainly made up for any technical problems. Power outages, elevator malfunctioning, average room furniture and poor bath lighting compared to industry standard convention hotels. Nice people though. The restaurant/bar (Bentley's) was exceptionally nice and had a very impressive menu that actually delivered. I'd go back to the restaurant again any day.
This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends.
It is nice that Salem has a hotel like this now. The rooms were so roomy and new. The restaurant was wonderful, and we could walk to the mall, which was a nice surprise.
