I know it was the last room available and lowest price at $179+ tax, but this was one small room. Hard to maneuver in and out of the place and just a slit for a window, so no view at all. Common area didn't offer much either and I saw no breakfast snacks or coffee as another post mentioned.

Great location to walk anywhere downtown, so no reason to spend any time in the room.

A group of us travel up to Portsmouth every year to attend The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Seacoast Repertory Theater (best show ever!) and, of course, stay at the Inn which is upstairs from the theater.
